Social Development department reiterates commitment to bettering SASSA grants

Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and commitment to enhancing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) products and services through an engagement with the agency's senior professionals at a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric exams.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for your National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% with the registered pupils during the instruction sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
